| There is a lot of film out there so I've separated this section into categories. I've noticed that Kodak and Fuji has a hold over the color and color reversal market. The black and white market is split between Kodak and Ilford. Agfa has one each in color and color reversal and two in B&W. I didn't find any other offerings but if I do, or if someone can add a few, I will put up some stats on them too. BTW, there is no longer any special effects films going to be offered by our domestic suppliers for 4X5. Ilford never offered their infrared for LF and Kodak has stopped selling their infrared for 4X5 and are letting current stocks sell out. Lack of sales was the excuse they used. This is a great loss to the LF community in my opinion. There is some available out of Germany but, of course, the price is a bit higher. Their link is MACO Photo Products. If anyone has any info on how the Agfa products are I would appreciate some reports. The technical documentation is a bit thin on what conditions the 4X5 film works best. |
